In September, Epic Scape Adventures at the Comics Festival and Itis!

Epic Scape will create the official mobile game for Helsinki Comics Festival on September 18–20, 2026. Free adventure set in Stoa and Itis from a flock of birds' point of view.

Epic Scape is taking part in Helsinki Comics Festival on September 18–20, 2026.
Organized at the Stoa Cultural Centre, the event is free of charge all weekend.

Organized by the Finnish Comics Society, the festival kicks off with Children's Comics Day, followed by two days dedicated to the main event. Read more about the event on the Comics Festival website.

Epic Scape is behind the official mobile game of the festival. In the game, players marvel at the world from the perspective of a flock of birds and celebrate the sense of community in comics. Everyone is welcome to join this flock.

An Adventure Across Stoa and Itis

Stoa Cultural Centre is located right next to the Itis shopping centre. When the people at Itis heard that the Finnish Comics Society was planning an Epic Scape route nearby, they wanted in on the fun. The upcoming game spans across both Stoa and Itis. You can start the game from either location and easily follow the route from building to building in the footsteps of the flock. All puzzles are solved indoors, so autumn storms won't get in the way of playing.

See you at the comics festival!

P.S. Stay sharp! We are also participating in some other legendary Helsinki art happenings this autumn. Epic Scape might not (yet) be Slush's most anticipated guest or the favorite startup of angel investors, but at least we are weird enough to enjoy a modest subcultural reputation. How many game startups can genuinely say that?
