Säpinää x Epic Scape: the band split, now you build a new one
An Epic Scape game joins the PUNK! exhibition at Hakasalmi Villa. You put a new band together across Helsinki's punk scene. The game comes with your ticket. The exhibition opens on 23 October 2026.
Säpinää x Epic Scape is played at Hakasalmi Villa for the whole run of the PUNK! exhibition.
The exhibition is open from 23 October 2026 to 29 August 2027. The game is included in your ticket.
The band is gone. The guitarist walked out, and the drummer and the bassist followed. The gig is still on, so you need a new line-up before the lights go down.
The game starts backstage and takes you through Helsinki's punk scene. The scene lived in crypts, zine rooms, squats and on the street. Bands started in basements, zines came off home printers, and style was not something you learned. You lived it.
How to play
You don't download anything and you don't sign up. Get the game's QR code from the villa's lobby, scan it with your phone, and the game opens in your browser.
When you finish the game, show it at the info desk. You get a reward. What it is, you find out at the desk.
The track opens with the exhibition
The track is not open yet. It opens on 23 October 2026, and the link will be added to this post then.
